Fort Edmonton Park
Travel back in time at Fort Edmonton Park! Experience life in Edmonton the way it really was 100 -150 years ago! Interact with costumed interpreters who share factual stories with you on the lives and times during the days of the fur trade, and the pioneer years of 1885, 1905 and 1920. Included in your admission are the impressive steam train and the authentic trolley cars. Ride an original stagecoach, play pioneer games, bake bread the old-fashioned way, test your skill at the Penny Arcade, and the Tom Thumb mini-golf course. Spend some time at our 1920s Midway with its rides and games, and take in the astonishing short film, Northern Lights, at the new Capitol Theatre. Need more time? Stay overnight in our beautifully reconstructed Hotel Selkirk and enjoy sumptuous dining at the Johnson Cafe. Visit Fort Edmonton Park and make your own history!
